Having put the two photos side by side, the found dog has a white on his right side of muzzle. Vinnie doesnt have any white on face. Also the white marking on neck of stray goes right the way round. Vinnies doesnt. Thank you anyway

Can you give details of where the possible sightings in Whitstable were as I live in Whitstable and will keep an eye out. Incidentally if you are the chap who spoke to a girl walking a Golden Retriever at Thornden Woods we have been there every day - taking different paths each time and not seen him there, We also ask everyone we see there to keep a lookout for him and there are posters all around the area. Hope he is back home soon.

Thanks everybody for your help and kind messages- Vinnie is still missing although there has been 2 possible sightings of him in the Whitstable area (CT5). Please continue to keep looking out for him, we are desperate to get him back.

Hi I've just printed ur poster to put in my car window. My dog went for a walk on his own when he got out just a few weeks ago. I thought he was lost but luckily a kind family looked after him and reported him to the police. I had a happy ending and hope you do too.

There is another Staffordshire missing from the CT5 area - about 4 miles away from where Vinnie went missing (posted on DogLost). Both were spooked and ran off so surely someone must have seen at least one of them. I expect it has already been done ( but I am new here and not sure of how it all works) but has anyone tried the local DogsTrust which has a rescue centre halfway between the two towns where these dogs went missing.
