The owners were told that Lady had already passed away when they collected Div in January, he was in such poor condition they believed it when told she had not made it. Thankfully Lady has been well cared for recently.

What a year for these dogs and the family, well done to all involved in getting Lady back home again, I hope the thieves will get their come-uppance and the law comes down hard on them, and as has been said ... PET OWNERS NEVER GIVE UP SEARCHING ... so glad for this outcome :-) xxx

It is fantastic news!
The last year has been one of turmoil for Lady and Divs owners who have never given up.
I hope this sends a strong message to those who think they can steal people's pets ..... we don't give up !

Lady being back where she belongs is the best news, I can't begin to imagine what these owners have been through during the last year. 2 dogs stolen, one back in terrible condition and told Lady was dead then to find that she is still alive. From that moment on the owners have worked tirelessly to find her. These owners have never given up searching, worth every minute to have her back where she belongs. X

So sorry to have to move Lady to the Bridge, sadly she did not make it home with Div. Their owners worked so hard to find them, just sorry we couldn't help get to them sooner. X

there are 2 lurchers in Viking Oak pound in Sevenoaks, found as strays, sex etc unknown, but not chipped. might be worth a call. they have a website just Google Viking Oak its the only one

Div and Lady were possibly seen in Warfield, Bracknell area last week, Lady had an injured leg and was put into a car but Div ran off. I will request alerts to be sent to new area.

Unfortunately the 2 lurchers found in Bristol were not Lady and Div so the search goes on.

Waiting for an update, owner has gone to see the dogs in Bristol today as kennels were not able to email photos of the ones mentioned below. Always best to go and check in person anyway. Just a long journey.

I found two lurchers of this description running wild around Bristol on Saturday. I am not sure of the genders of the dogs. They are now at Bristol Dogs Home 0117 9776043 and they surprised that noone has claimed them. You can give me a call on 0117 3738229

The word is spreading fast for these two, I have spoken to the owner who has done all the right thigs.Police are involved and taking statements from neighbours, the Echo will be publishing the story tomorrow, adverts on social networks etc.
