Long story shortish: Patrick posted a dog on NANNA's lost/found facebook page a couple of days ago saying the dog was lost beginning of November. I was originally given a description of ROTTIE x Foxhound (?!) with no picture for the same missing dog halfway through OCTOBER... when we finally received this the photo this week, the resemblance between this dog and the missing dog was obvious. I informed Patrick that the dog had gone to Animals in Need Maxicare for rehoming. AIN's original pic was crossposted hundreds of times. I also crossposted to many groups, twitter and DL, so the found dog had a LOT of exposure at the time. Patrick was given AIN's number the night he posted the photo, he said he would contact them and I asked that he kept us updated. Since then I have heard nothing. As the dog was rehomed legally, this should now be up to Patrick & AIN to deal with. Either way this is a sad situation for somebody and emphasises the importance of chipping/tagging/accurate descriptions and photos!

This bitch has been found, handed into Abington vets then on to animals in need for rehoming. We have had difficulties due the owner mental health in recovering this animal. I as a close friend have tracked her down so far but still have not found were she is. Can you help?...Patrick

Does anyone know where this dog is? The owner is looking for it but the contact on this page is for the Vet in Abington who hasn't the dog anymore.
