Sparkle cant log on either but she is home now and wondering why it took me five days to find her! A bit slimmer now and footsore but unhurt. I am astonished that a Saluki bitch who has lived her six years on another planet has managed to negotiate several major intersections on the A40 - some quite often! - and survived. Our deepest gratitude to all of you who helped and looked and walked and called and texted but most of all cared. If any of you remember the Dog Lost adventure of Wayland, who I was reunited with actually ON the A40 around 3 years ago, and wrote up the story for the Countryman's Weekly, dear Sparkle is his mother. Wayland survived as well, by the way . . Thanks again to everyone, and most of all Steph and Dog Lost. You put all the other agencies to shame and should be sponsored by our so called government . . . Respect! from Jean, Shilo, Sparkle, Wayland, Shaman, Spots, Flatpack and Captain Jack (names I will endeavour to keep off this site for as long as I can . . )

Very pleased to be able to say that Sparkle has been caught & is on her way home ! :-)
We were searching around the Hillingdon Circus area with no results . Another sighting from this afternoon came in,thank you Karen x. This sighting was near the dry ski slope again, indicating that Sparkle was running in a circuit & revisiting places she had been seen in before. Owner went from Hillingdon Circus to the dry ski slope just to check & there she was!
Into the blue you go Sparkle !
A big thank you to all who have helped here with searching, posters, sightings & posting up on here & Facebook. It all worked it's magic! XX

Tx Ladies...good luck.

Don't know how well you know the area but from Master Brewer she could head across fields up behind Daltons Farm and Ickenham Manor, behind Glebe estate. They go right across Ickenham Marsh as far as Ruislip Gardens/Northolt. On the plus side no roads, on the other hand she will be hard to spot. I've driven up the lane to the farm/manor,but in the dark no luck. Maybe worth going up across those fields early in the morning. Best of luck. XLast edited: 2014-10-26 18:23:30 by JenEd

Anyone in Hillingdon, Ickenham - we have just read on Facebook that Sparkle may be near Hillingdon Circus - Ickenham side - Master Brewer area about an hour ago, so that would have been Sunday at about 4.00
Good Luck x
JenEd
Had a drive round up at Bakers Wood today. No luck. Shame whoever put info on Pets Located doesn't also use DogLost. No luck there? These greyhound types certainly get around!

This is Sparkle's owner logging on under friends name - can't log on ! Sparkle still out there somewhere. I want to thank everyone for all the kind calls, texts and messages of sightings so far. If you do see Sparkle, please do not attempt to approach or catch her - unless you can corral her - she is a wild thing and will not be caught. If you see her please call me as soon as you can. A big thank you from all of us - she is mother to three of my hounds . . much missed
