Shocking but this highlights the need to ensure that Microchip details are kept upto date as a priority.

Please also see Toby's reunited page for details of a campaing to ensure Microchips are always carefully checked for.

I am so sorry for the owners and family of Raiven, almost wish I had not opened this page, as I can only imagine the pain and frustration they are going through. Take comfort it would have been quick and that he will live forever in your heart x

So awful. Too quick to put animals to sleep!!!!! And lesson to be learned abotu keeping details up to date too. Althought NOT the owners fault that Raiven was PTS.

What a waste of a beautiful dog. I think if he was mine I would take legal action against the people who put him down and never checked whether he had a chip, and think that not checking animals for chips should be illegal and punishable.

This is happening far too often and a full investigation needs to be done about why this lad was PTS. RIP darling Raven; run happy and free at the Bridge beautiful sweetheart. So sorry about the human betrayal xxxx

Oh that is terrible. Why wasn't he checked for a chip? This should never have happened. I am so very, very sorry and my thoughts are with the family at this heartbreaking time. I would demand a full explanation of how this assessment was carried out. Run free at the bridge, beautiful Raiven xxxx

"Tracked him to a kennels, he's been put down after failing his
assessment, he was missing 15 days before I knew it. Sadly he was
euthanized in 18th October. Thanks for helping tho"
