Thank you everybody. We have our dog back but under very dodgy circumstances so we have involved the police. Be aware. Our dog did run off on a walk but somehow ended up in the wrong hands.

The tweet I did via @dogfriendfrome has been retweeted 20 times - so brilliant circulation on twitter and I am seeing people locally (Frome) sharing it on facebook too. The waiting must be dreadful :-(

circulating on twitter....Choc Brown Cocker Spaniel MISSING http://bit.ly/1FOeM1D #UptonScudamore nr #Frome #Warminster #Westbury #BA12 Plz RT

Update: We think that he may have latched on to another runner - some army cadets this morning said that somebody approached them yesterday with a chocolate cocker saying that the dog was lost. His collar/tag was missing so must have come off/broken off somewhere. Hence no phone calls. Hopefully somebody will have his microchipped scanned tomorrow. Waiting, waiting. It's awful.
rosiefrome
Shared on Facebook (Frome and surrounding area) and on Twitter too. Hope he's soon home.....
Inge
Just added to my facebook timeline. I walk up on the Plain most days with my dog so will certainly keep an lookout. I usually go to Cradle Hill, or Battlesbury Hill. Hope he gets home again safe and sound ASAP
