- Tom and two others were out late last night in the dark searching around Mcgoldrick Park in Huyton but could not find it. RSPCA, police and dog wardens all told Tom yday they wouldn't attend unless it was already contained so I don't believe he got any help other than the 2 volunteers who met him last night. Everyone who has seen it report it as injured, exhausted and scared so unless someone has taken it into their home unreported.. it is still there on the worst night of the year to be out for a dog. The lack of help and silence today from the authorities is pretty disappointing and none seem to be doing anything proactive to locate what could be a very distressed large dog of a breed which could become aggressive if in enough pain or fright...in a residential area. Tom doesn't know what to do now.. The dog seemed to have stayed around the park all the time so is unlikely to have got far in the condition it has been reported to be in.

- Tommy, try to entice him with food. Throw the food away from yourself and towards him. Crouch down, look to the side away from him, throw food a bit nearer. It may take a while.Lastly do not try to grab him until you are confident that he is relaxed around you. If necessary leave food and water and go back tomorrow and repeat.
