Gel was found 3.30 today in Dorothea Quarry, Nantlle. He's fine, thinks that he found us as he came over to my husband and son in the quarry!! Thank you soooooo much for your help.

I have managed to find a friend who's reposted the photo of the brown collie now, so I've been able to comment on there that Gel's not been found. I think it's a lost dog page on FB.

Hi Heulwen - I haven't come across that posting but if you can't comment on it, send a message to the person who has posted it........... it will go into their others box but hopefully they will see it. Alternatively, see if the person posting has any mutual friends and contact them.
I have re-posted Gel's poster telling people he isn't home.
Last night's walkabout didn't bring anything :-(
I'm just about to go out now with Jess............. hoping.
Stay positive Heulwen - someone may have taken him in and will be phoning the DW tomorrow (he may have lost his collar).
In the meantime, please phone Nant y Corn (out of hours)this morning if you can - people sometimes take dogs there without DW intervention.(01745 824646)

There's a picture of a dog on FB that seems to be linked to this website of a mid brown collie dog, and a few people have suggested it could be Gel. Later on in the comments is says 'Reunited' but it isn't Gel. Very glad this little dog has found his/her owner but worried that people mistakenly think Gel's been found now. Am not able to comment on the posts! The dog was found in Hendre, Caernarfon.

Dim problem Barbara. I'm only down the 'hill' so I've come back to feed my tribe and will go out again in an hour or so. I hope someone local has taken him in. Maybe still in hiding because of the torrential rain today - hopefully no more fireworks tonight. I have to pass through that area twice tomorrow, but hopefully he'll be home by then.

No sightings at all. Very odd nobody's seen him and phoned the number on his collar. Been putting posters! Feel very helpless :(

Helo Heulwen - thanks for coming back to me...........I've a few hours to spare before dark so I'll come over and have a wander round......... Have there been any sightings since this morning? I hate the tghought of him being out there in this. I live in Talsarn so I'll come up over the top and see what happens....... I hope he's home soon.

Thanks for keeping an eye out jobadger, Gel went missing in upper Groeslon area. He bolted down the village, but that's where the fireworks were so I can't think he'd have carried on in that direction. So he might have gone in Maestryfan direction or doubled back up towards Carmel. Very worried now as it's wet and cold and he's got arthritis in his hip, think he must be alone somewhere as he has a tag with phone number if someone had found him. My other two dogs are lost without him.

Hi - whereabouts in Groeslon did this lad go missing? Any idea where he could've headed? It's rural - it's the quarries I'm worried about......... Went out and about (driving and walking) at 4 this morning but nothing.....
