I finally have better internet connect and can post on Khan's page. Jayne alerted me to Helen and helpers amazing rescue. I know this was extremely, extremely scary! These were very brave caring people. Brave because they didn't know what they would witness and did not turn away! They saved this poor dog and thankfully, he is on the mend, hopefully never to be reminded of that again. Hopefully when his body was shutting down, it was to save him from the terrible shock he suffered. To the person who called Helen; theperson who called the railway, those who assited in the capture and in this case, even the people from the railway who helped, you are truly the best! And to, Helen, I've always known you were the best. Kisses to Khan XXX. God bless you all. xxx

Just to update you..... Khan, our Lil "Wooly Pig" is doing really well.... He is sleeping soundly at the moment after a good meal and some kisses x poor boy can hardly walk because of his poor pads that are so badly cut up.... not much skin left on them at all. Without the help from all the amazing people who either spotted him or helped with his rescue.... I dread to think of what could have happened.
Thank you all so very much xxxxx

Wow...have just heard full story and what a testament it is to Doglost helpers!
A helper who had been alerted was on a train that stopped as a dog was on the tracks...she alerted owner who phoned Helen... a helper alerted the railway station to stop the trains...they could not do this but said they would restrict the trains to 5 miles an hour and alert drivers...sadly Khan was clipped by another train near the station and station staff put up netting to keep khan in the area...Helen and other helpers were at the spot and Helen with her helpers managed to slip a lead onto Khan ..who was covered in blood and in shock...Owner arrived and they were able to take khan to the vets in the back of Helens van...if those trains had not been warned we would be looking at a very different outcome..so despite Helen not wanting any glory for this..I am going to say well done to her and her team of helpers...please leave a message of support and tx to team Khan on this thread...do share on FB etc and lets show team Khan how well they did!

Thankfully Khan has been found, he was sighted on the rail track, we eventually caught him at the Lowestoft train station, he had been clipped by a train and we rushed him straight to the vets where he is now, he is extremely traumatised and will be having x-rays first thing tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who helped get this boy to safety x
