** HAVE YOU LOST A DOG? **
Reports coming in of a medium sized, dark grey wiry haired dog wandering in Todwick yesterday and again on Ryton Road North Anston today. Apparently it looks quite old. If it is the same dog in both locations it must have crossed the A57! No pictures I'm afraid! The person who spotted it couldn't pick it up as she had her own dog in the car. - 2014-11-18 22:28 Owl
- Pleased to read that there has been a sighting.

- Hi Doug, just to let you know I went out from 1pm till 3.30pm. No sign of Sam. I did speak to a gentleman from the back of the farm shop who said he saw him on Saturday and he tried to catch him but he run off. I have put up 20 posters in and around area near junctions and public foot paths. Spoke to a few home owners and gave them a poster. Hope it brings some news.

- Hi Dougler, do you need any posters printing off? I don't mind doing some and putting them up. I live in Bramley but will drive up your end tomorrow.

- Owl.....good suggestion, thank you. We will look to poster around a much wider radius. I did a 3 hour walk around the local area this morning and mentioned his disappearance to may dog walkers in an attempt to increase the chances of finding him.

- Have you postered around the neighbouring villages as well as in Morthen? Elderly dogs tend to travel further than one would expect, and sometimes when they are a great age they can get confused.
- 2014-11-15 18:58 Owl
- I have added his age to the details above.

- There is a reward for finding our Sam. If you find him, please can you take him home or to Green Acre kennels just off Morthen road in Wickersley, until we can come and collect him. He's 17 years old and he's very much part of the family.
