Just tried to copy and paste the image in the link but it did not work. It was dated 12 Dec and the page was "pets For Sale/free Hertford/" "for sale 2 year old miniature pincsher bitch lovely little girl house trainned loves children great with other dogs cats etc sad sale 300 harlow". Does look odd for a family dog to be held on a lead while sitting on family bed?

Sorry I sent the email to admin x thought you would be able to see it x

The little dog i saw on the fields in odstock has now been caught abd is with the dog warden. Its a chuwhuawha (excuse the spelling) cross terrier. I bumped into a dog walker this morning who let me know, not sure when it was caught but they said it took hours. Least its safe.

I have put posters for this dog up along the side of the field where I saw the loose dog. There was nothing up there this morning but I will keep an eye out. I'm up there every day during the week.

Jennyb: In light of the owner of this dogs thoughts, please can you set the sighted dog up as a "found". I don't think we can discount the dog as not this one as someone else could have picked her up and fitted a coller and then either lost or released her. However, it is also probable that we are dealing with another dog. Thanks for all your help.
Jenny B
If you come in from the salisbury side (so the hospital will be on your left),once it changes to national speed limit up the hill there is a layby on the righthand side where you can park. There is a large red farm gate a little further up on the right which leads into a massive field (about 2 miles all the way around the outside). The dog was in the crop running up and down the right hand side of the field, up to the point where the path cuts accross the field. I work at the weekends but will go back up on Monday.
Unknown
i live in Breamore but dont know that area very well, is it opposite the main hospital ? I can get down there in the morning but need some direction x
Jenny B
I'm happy to put some up on Monday, i will be there again with my dogs,.i have passed the word around. A friend of mine said the dog was still running up and down at 3pm yesterday, we saw it at 9:30ish, which is a bit worrying.
Unknown
Anyone nearer than me able to get a couple of posters out there just in case? Someone may have picked her up and put a collar on her so cant discount its not her x

I have spoken to the owner, her went missing without a collar on so she doesnt think its hers. This one had a red collar on. I will still keep an eye out for it and have passed the word around, just incase its still running loose. Hope the dog warden managed to catch it.

Thanks Jennyb, your help is invaluable...
Jenny B
Have called and left a message.
Jenny B
Yes thats fine. I will try and call the owner today.

Jennyb: Is it OK for me to pass your contact details to owner?
Jenny B
Thank you. If you need anymore info please contact me. Fingers crossed. The dog seemed very distressed and very scared. Did point it out to other dog walkers who were going to try and catch it but is was really keeping right out in the centre of the field. I believe 'The Vets' called the dog warden directly. It was only talking to a friend who informed me a terrier type dog had gone missing from Bowerchalke otherwise I would have let you know sooner.
DogLostBobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
Jennyb, this is very helpful information and, I will see that the owner knows about it. Thank you

Bumped due to possible sighting & requesting TwitterLast edited: 2014-12-19 23:02:49 by Bobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex

Is this dog still missing? It maybe a long shot but I was walking my dogs on the fields opposite the Salisbury Hospital (on the right hand side of Odstock Road heading towards Odstock from Salisbury) this morning and there was a black terrier type dog (very similar to this but with a red collar on) running very scared backwards and forwards in the middle of the crops. It was still running backwards and forwards an hour later when we were heading home - we tried both times to get close to catch it with no joy, it was very frightened. I called The Vets on Exeter Street who informed the dog warden, who was going to try and catch it.Last edited: 2014-12-19 22:38:21 by Jenny B

Please look out for this terrier wherever you are as she may have been taken.

Please also be aware that a male Manchester Terrier has gone missing from near Winchcombe, Glos. So male or female if you spot one or see two together please report it.

Thanks Fergal's Servant, messages back and forth a bit today. The Cornwall dog is not this lovley girl as microchip numbers differ. The search continues.

Thanks Fergal's Servant, I'll pass on to owners representative :)

The Cornwall Dog Warden want the owner to contact them, list their dog as lost, and give details of chip number, tags, identifying details, etc. They cannot give or take information directly from a member of the public. Please quote the Case ID number for Found 78791 listed as a Doberman is:
Case ID:CP2.22112014.F1
DogLostBobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
Thanks Fergal's Servant, that is a Doberman, Manchester's stand about 12-15" with Dobbies being much bigger. Do you think possible that the DW could have listed wrong? could you phone them to find out if it is a "very small Doberman"? Thanks again.

Has Found 78791 been checked? with Dog Warden, found Cubert Cornwall

Jenny that link did not work for me, so I've put another one on.

Just keep doing what you are doing supporting the owner, either you or owner can gradually contact more vets and neighbouring dog wardens, moving out further each day.

Please put a poster up for this lovely girl wherever you are as she could be anywhere.
