- Safe in rescue waiting for a home.

- Also, we do ask for proof if the dog has been rehomed before handing any dog back.

- In response to the C.J. Police contact co-ordinator, the first thing we do when handing a stray dog to us, is to obviously check for a microchip, therefore yes we have tried to contact the owner unfortunately the telephone contact details weren't correct or not updated and a notice was sent to the owner's address.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN. - 2014-11-22 12:09 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- I would hope that as the dog is microchipped that the person whose details are registered has first been contacted?
Address held is not a flat and owners details are a female.. Need to establish if dog rehomed and what proof of ownership any one claiming this dog is giving. - 2014-11-21 23:43 TheKrazyKatLadee
- Jennifer - just to let you know, Debbie Perry from facebook lost and found, went to the flat friday afternoon, couldnt find the door but found the letter box on wall so left a note in the box. Hopefully they will check their post. Also, someone else commented on facebook that the one in question is a different size and has more white so now really not sure. Anything is worth a try ?? I presume no one has come to collect this one

- I will try on Monday, but if it is a flat, i'm not sure i'll get an answer, but it's worth a try.
There's been no report on our system, which is surprising, when police and local vets would refer the owner to go to their local council.
Thank you. - 2014-11-20 00:13 TheKrazyKatLadee
- Note to dog warden - I had a call today from someone who recognises this found dog. Apparently he belongs to the man who lives in the flas about the indian restuarant at the eastbrook. The man adores his dog and cant believe he hasnt contacted you, looking for him. Sorry but this is the only information I have. If I get a chance - I will try to go to area and give them a knock but would a warden possibly go. Hope it is the same dog and he can get home to his daddy as soon as possible. Will share this information on facebook to see if anyone knows of this man.
