Sorry dont go by age as often guessed wrong. 10 yr black lab found as stray in North Wales: www.freshfieldsrescue.org.uk (North Wales)

I cannot believe Ben is not back yet. I used to live in Northants and know there are a lot of open spaces. Have you got it into the local press so there are more eyes looking out for him. The weather is not nice for him being out on his own. Please stay safe sweetheart. xx

hi im so sorry about your ben, especially that hes an older dog. ive lost my 18month old lab harley in july and im still looking for him, but saying that my other lab whos name was also ben who died of old age 8 years ago often went on a walk about but he either came home or someone found him and obviously knowing he ws an old age pensioner took him in and let the authorities know. i hope this will be the case for you. try what i did and ring the news desk of your local paper and give them your story of ben. i know i live quite a distance away but if i can helpin any way just send me a message my email is jenny.whitehouse@blueyonder.co.uk and im also on this site good look love jennyxx

Please could you advise Bens owners to contact Forest Lodge Kennels (holding kennels) on 01604 862239, Country Kennels 01933 665315, Brixworth Jaydee Sanctuary for Dogs 01604 880003, Brook Farm Animal Sanctuary Wellingborough 07903966312 as these are all local to them. I live a few miles away so will put up posters in Rushden and I will email friends in Wellingborough, Northampton, Kettering and Irchester /Irthlingbourough. I have emailed the poster to Wellingborough Dog wardens and east Norhants Council Dog wardens as well as other local rescues with emails. I hope they find him.Thanks. Shelly
