- Currently undergoing surgery. Great news that he's strong enough for this to happen today and sending prayers and healing thoughts that he will recover quickly and well. Will update as soon as I know more.

- A brilliant result, catching the dog and locating the owner. Poor little fellow, wishing him a good recovery.

- So relieved to have located the owners. Dog was chipped to someone that was not his owner, didn't live in the area and with phone numbers that were not recognised. Can only presume that there was a mix up at the vets when the chip was registered. Following a road trip down the M1 and a conversation with a lady that was thrown by the fact that the dog was registered to her it did turn out that she had lived in the area that the dog was found up until 3 years ago and was able to point me in the direction of a possible owner. Returned to Weedon and went to the house that the lady had described and the owner was found.
Current update states: "Going to lose his eye bless him and they've got to stitch up his tongue. He's sedated and staying at Towcester tonight as the poor little thing is in shock"
Great work by the Cow Girls again and a brilliant job done by Clare and Chris. Many thanks for acting so quickly xxx - 2014-11-20 19:05 ClaireC

- We caught this little one on the farthingstone road approx 2 to 3 miles out of Weedon. Dog originally came running out of one of the fields was spotted by my husband , dropped our dog of home and went looking. dog was not in the best condition but is now at the vets recieving treatment. Fingers crossed for this little border collie. Thank you to those we stopped and asked if they had seen this dog and who directed us further also massive thanks to the other 3 ladies who helped us when we flagged their car down, Sorry i can only remember Alex's name, who helped pick this dog up and place him in our car so we could get him to the vets asap and they actually followed us to the vets to see how little collie boy was doing on route.
