- There is a found dog on the Animal Search site (www.animalsearch.co.uk) which I am not sure what the status is - have a look anyway - doesn't really give much detail as to the breed or anything. I have sent the written info through as Animal Search don't like links from other "companies / sites". So worth you trying to make contact as well if you think it's worth a try. Info says - Found Dog (AFP213747)
Sex: Bitch (Female)
Colours: Tan and White
No collar or flea collar
Chipped: Not sure

- Hi Clare,
Dont want to get your hopes up but there was a white and tan terrier found in Scorrier today. Its on the council stray dog site ....http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/animal-welfare/dog-welfare-and-enforcement-service/stray-dogs/stray-dogs-recently-collected/
I hope its Elska :) - 2015-01-23 15:34 Tiana
- Hi Clare, any more reports from Beacon way? Noticed the posters continue to go up, so hoping she's found shelter somewhere or maybe even a safe haven with the highway men/Cormac doing the roadways over the hill to Pool. Potential food source across the fields. Keeping fingers crossed for her.

- Over 7 weeks now with Elska being spotted a fortnight ago, so she's surviving out there - good girl! Keep safe now and show yourself.
To any helpers nearby please keep an eye out around Beacon / specifically the King Edward Mine site and back around the fields towards Brea and possibly Camborne/Pool along the old Tramlines.

- Today when looking for Elska I spoke to a family who think they may have seen her around the engine houses just up from the King Edward Mine. No luck today though.
- 2014-12-27 11:46 clarefalmouth
- She was seen on the 20th Dec running up Condurrow Road,Beacon. I have talked to a lot of residents and given out posters. Back out to look today. Thanks for all the continued support.

- Bumped due to the sightings.

- I had a phone call today from someone who had a sighting of Elska in the Beacon area. I will poster the area tomorrow and will ask local residents and walk the area again.
- 2014-12-05 16:31 Tiana
- Can the owners confirm whether there have been any reported sightings since Posters went up please? Have visited the area looking for her and noticed a lot of new posters now in place by others. Another similar dog was missing for over 9 weeks on farmland before in the winter when a farmer spotted them and we reunited with owner. Stay positive!
- 2014-11-26 10:25 Tiana
- Sorry to hear she's still missing. Posters now up in village shop, pub, deli, pasty store and circulated around local businesses including holiday park backing onto fields. Any one available to poster Penponds and surrounding areas which need more maybe wider afield? Opposite place she went missing is Gernick boarding kennels which are now aware and owner will let local farmers know. Also I'll try to notify Duchy College Rosewarne as they have land backing on same fields. Keep safe little one.Last edited: 2014-11-26 16:25:12 by Tiana

- Have spoken to owner & will email advice sheets.
Elska has gone missing on land around where she normally walks in Praze-an-Beeble. It is possible she has gone hunting rabbits. Have advised re checking down holes with a length of hosepipe & funnel. Dog warden informed. Have shared to local fb pages.
Stay safe Elska until you are found
