A £50 donation has been sent to Dogs Lost from Silver Fox Rescue, this was sent to us by Frodo's adoptive owner as she is very grateful to everyone who helped, she wanted us to donate it to you.
It has been agreed that it maybe isn't the right home for him with his little issues haha, He is safe and loved in foster care again and will remain here for the time being xxx

Wow what a day and night, 8 hours later Sarah and I have him, he was so pleased to see us. The lady that posted had him then let him go again!?! Anyway we left our numbers with her and pleaded that if she saw him again please keep him somewhere and call us. We were on our way home when she called to say she could see him, he had made a nest in the straw, we turned straight back. She had managed to get him in an out building and shut the door. As soon as he saw us he ran to us, I have never cried so much as this weekend and today.
Thank you all for your help, there are some truly lovely people out there.
(We won't go into the helping of the man changing his tyre too) ;) haha xxxxxxx

They are now a step further and have yet another name and address, v close to services. They are on way there now.

We have made contact with the lady who posted on Facebook, but it turns out she was only sharing for another lady who found Frodo. Sarah and Claire are now trying to locate this other lady, and Rottie has found a possible number and address in Killamarsh from the BT phonebook.

No she has not. Hope she has not had internet probs or something. Sarah is on her way to meet me at Barlborough and we will take it from there. High Moor is a very small village, just across a couple of fields from the services. If necessary we will just go there and make enquiries as we have the lady's name.

Sarah has seen photo of found dog and confirmed that he is indeed Frodo. She could not download photo from Frenchie so I sent the Orange mms link which I got.

Thanks for alerting me, ninja, as I was about to go out and start looking around. Killamarsh is exactly where Frodo would have arrived if he continued along the route he was last seen. Just been informed it was WOODHALL services not TIBSHELF that he escaped from near junction 30, someone who helped try and catch has messaged his foster and told her

I have just been sent this message:
Hi I helped in trying to catch Frodo yesterday. It was actually Woodhall Services just north of junction 30, not Tibshelf as noted in your post. Loads of road workers helped too but unfortunately he was too frightened & too fast. They have his owners contact number, as have the staff at the northbound services, all have promised to keep an eye out & the local dog rescue have been informed. Please if you can redirect efforts to Woodhall there will be more chance of finding the poor soul.

I just wanted to mention (I am sure the Doglost coords for the area know already) but Dog ref 78364 Skye is also missing in Tibshelf area and I just noticed ref the one being found and vets4pets comment. I do hope Frodo and also the other dog are found soon. x

I do hope it is Frodo that has been handed in to vets, we are worried sick about him. I have googled to find a phone number for Vets for pets derby but can't find one.

Received a call from vets 4 pets at Derby? someone had found a dog in Alfreton/ ripley area and took it to them today. Sorry because it was not my area i just told them to Ring Amber valley whos area it was i did not get the dogs colour etc.. i have just received the poster so called Amber Valley and the vets have not called them. it may be this dog? sorry i don't have any further information where the dog is now?

Postered tibshelf village,need to do huthwaite but ran out of posters, seen lots of dog walkers and given them posterers, hopefully news tomorrow if not will poster again tomorrow evening after work. Vicky x

I live in Newton,the access to both sides of the motorway are within a few minutes walk.Do you know whether the dog went missing from the north or south bound side?If north,there is a lot of woodland and open fields bordering a multiuser trail...easy to go to ground.I take my dog most days.South bound, fields but no public access at that point.Have left details at village shop and will do same at the local fishing hut.

More info from Rottie: he escaped from northbound side, ran up "authorised vehicle only" lane and road workers nearly caught him. But he got away through shrubs to fields behind. Perhaps he will head for Tibshelf village?
