Merry Christmas to all of you, we really can't begin to thank you enough for your support.
We still don't have the whole story, and expect it will be after Christmas until we do. As always, we'll keep you posted.

Dog found in Ovenden has been ruled out, thanks

Latest sightings Clay Wheels Lane. Finn seems to be moving around a roughly triangular circuit. If anyone can join the search please contact one of the numbers above, as the search is being carefully co-ordinated to monitor his movements without scaring him out of the area. If you see him, do not attempt to catch him or move towards him, but get down low avoiding eye contact, speak very quietly and leave food if you have some. And call one of the numbers above.

Pl look on lostboxuk 's Facebook page. Red male looks like a cocker found running in road Ovenden West Yorks. Chipped but the chip has no owners details registered. Just gone online tonight

Have been talking with owner who will pass on my number to Suzanne. Not sure about Rivelin Valley, but sighted Hillsborough.Last edited: 2014-12-20 19:37:43 by Owl

I have recently joined Finn's page and started catching up on the sightings. Please can Suzanne update the latest sightings to this page? Is it correct that the Rivelin Valley sighting was of a different dog but that there have been other sightings of Finn? I will advise as best I can. Will give the above number a call.

Have just spoken with Suzanne who is searching for Finn, he is her Godmothers dog, she desperately needs good advise, is there a co-ordinator or any helpers for the Sheffield area please who can assist her? Have advised her to get on here asap. Thank you.

Confirmed sighting

Hi Everyone,

I've just taken a call from a lovely lady who saw Finn yesterday at 16:30pm on Robertson Road, Rivelin Valley, Sheffield .

She said he looked scared and that he wouldn't come to her - she didn't know his name as she's only just seen the missing poster today.

She said another woman was trying to coach him towards her when she had to leave the scene. She last saw him sat at the top of number 44's drive.

The lady advised that there is a park called Bolehills at the top of the road that dogs quite frequently run away to. I've looked on a map and there seems to be plenty of woods / parks in that area.

Please, please, please if you are local to that area would you mind looking out for him in the main housing estates as well as the parks?

Just cooking some sausages now to see if that will help entice him out"

There was some confusion earlier today regarding Finn's microchip number. This has now been resolved and the correct information has been put in place and updated on this page. Thanks.
jan
thanks for looking. FInn is my mum's dog and we haven't told her he is missing yet as she is in hospital until Sunday afternoon. So looks like we had better tell her soon !Last edited: 2014-11-29 17:18:45 by jan

There was a sighting of Finn heading in the direction of Lodge Moor. The area has been saturated with posters.

Hi this is a working cocker spaniel, definitely not a Field Spaniel (bigger and liver or black only)
Billabong
Which direction did he take off in and from where? I live about 25 mins south of this area, can help search.
lab
Will keep a look out for him. Hope Finn is home soon.
