Any chance anybody in the area could take their greyhound out to look, greyhounds often relate better to other greys especially if they are racers or retired ones. Not good for greys out in this weather as most have very little fat and not a lot of coat.

Mill Lane is the footpath from Evenley to Westbury, he went through a livery yard which is just outside Turweston x

Posted 10 mins ago on FB share - Jenneane Crofts Diesel spotted 20 mins ago running very fast at our livery yard nr Brackley. Looks like he is heading towards mill lane area towards westbury x

The number wasn't incorrect~I've just spoken to them. The number is for the parents of the owner's who confirm a black greyhound is missing, Grove Farm, Westbury near Brackley. Microchipped with plastic collar. Missing late morning 30.11.14

Right - seems a mix up here but not to worry as there is only 1 lost dog so it seems. Stuart apologizes has he has now been told indeed it is Westbury. So it would seem the dog missing is called Diesel.
The phone number on the page was incorrect so I have for now added the DogLost number until the mobile numbers on another post are supplied.

Can we check that this dog was lost in Whittlebury please - there was a black greyhound lost in fields near Westbury yesterday & I think that the area code would suggest that they are the same dog!
