Mabel has been found safe and sound.  She had fallen into a big compost pit in owners garden.. I asked the owners daughter if there was anywhere she could have got caught or stuck and she said there was this one place, and she went and had a look and Mabel was there, very thirsty and hungry but safe!!  Welcome home Mabel xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Mable wondeered off two days ago.,  She is getting on in years and may be lost.  She went from a house in Wick Street which is just outside Stroud on the Painswick Rd. Owner has searched and contacted DW police and will do Teckells.  Im going to email owners daughter some advice, and advised getting up as many posters as she can in the area.  Owner is not aware of this as She is away. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Mable has gone missing again. She now has pancreatic problems and if given dog food is likely to make quite a mess.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

FANTASTICE NEWS. Chubby has been found. We spent all morning trolling round Stroud handing out posters. I did Stroud, Cathy did the sorrounding houses and Vicki did the post offices and supermarkets. Cathy rang me 10 minutes ago to say that she had been delviered home by a lady who recognized her from the flyer put through her door. Mabel seems absoloutely fine without a mark on her and very waggy and happy to be home. We are SO relieved that my parents did not have to go throught the anxiety that we have for Basil and Myrtle. And the feelingwhen you finally get that call is like a drug. Thank you for all your support and advice Jayne. Dolly x Please keep eyes and ears open for Basil and Myrtle...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sadly still no news. Florence didn't manage to locate her sister. Mabel's house is fairly remote and there aren't that many places close by where she could hide like pubs etc. Poor old lady. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I will do a ring round again this morning and go and see all the neighbours. She must be feeling quite rough by now as she hasn't had her special food, and when she doesn't her guts bleed. Poor Chubby. Thanks for all support. We have 2 dogs who are still red on DOGLOST lets please make this one blue...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

poor soul. come home soon. I personally out of my own pocket would support this little dog in the form of help towards the reward.......... please we must find this one. You poor thing and your poor father. Keep pestering your local dog warden, police and local vets. especially wherever they are taken if piked up, he can not of gone to far. Check all your neighbours out houses, hide e holes around. check with your local postman and milkman he may just see something in the early quiet hours. any paperboys around the area. The very best of luck to you all. xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you all for all your support. She is a lovely girl and my parents are away on holiday. I haven't told them the news yet and the girl looking after the dogs has done all the right things...Vets, council, dog wardens, put messages through doors etc. We are desperate to find her before my poor father gets home as he will be devastated as are my children. Not again... Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
