Sammie the chip failed that's why not picked up. Vets did a full and proper scan so must be a faulty batch.Vets did not have to put on facebook but because they did she was recognised. Owners will get her rechipped to be safe,

I am so pleased Brooke is home safe. Would be good if we can find out where she has been and who took her? They need prosecuting for stealing someone's pet!

Sometimes they fail x that's why its recommended to have your dogs chip scanned at least twice a year x
Sammie
Why did the chip not come up with owners details when she was in the vets? Great she is home but odd the vets had to post on FB to find the owner

Priory Vets We can confirm that Brooke has in deed been reunited with her owners - one happy dog and set of owners! On their way home with some Little Pet Biscuits as homecoming gift from us. Huge thanks to the Parks family for bringing her in and to everyone for sharing and recognising. In just a few hours dog and o reunited after several weeks. The power of Facebook and Dogs Lost! By the way, Brook was originally chipped but we cannot find one working now. Remember to get your pets chip checked at least twice a year - all materials can break or occasionally migrate out of the body. Best wishes Brooke and family

Very similar dog found in Bletchingley today and handed into Priory Vets. Not stating sex. 01737 242190 it is on their Facebook page.

I saw a very similar marked dog in the vet today. Is Brooke spayed? This dog I think was being picked up having been spayed and they mentioned she had been in season about a month previously. The dog looked more like a springer or sprocker size than a cocker but the markings are similar so I thought I would just check
Carole
Sadly - the dog at Gatehouse Veterinary Clinic is not Brooke. Thank you for your alerts. Please keep looking.
CopperM
Very similar dog at Gatehouse veterinary clinic, Allerton. 01274 480031 found Bingley, Christmas Day. No chip or collar when found..On Missing Pets Forum Facebook.

Have also spotted this one, it might be an honest posting but seems a bit odd.
