I went to Chippenham Yesterday and put up about 20 posters scattered around the town centre to try and raise his profile. Hopefully it may jog somebodys memory.

Has anyone checked whether Westie found on 24th, reg on 1.12.06 in Wales SA66 has a bit of black hair on base of tail and could be Troy?? Unlikely but possible....

I've spoken to the Gazette & Herald (with owners permission) and they say they will try and get story in paper this Thursday. I suggested putting Doglost phone no. on appeal as don't want Troy's elderly owner getting calls from anyone unsavoury. The nice chap from the G&H will be looking at the site so can get no. from here. Also rang DW & asst. took details & will call me if they have picked him up altho owner has registered with Bath Cats & Dogs Home where Chippenham strays go. Hope Troy is home soon.

Nice meeting you Kerry! I will give the N. Wilts DW a call on Monday and try to get Gazette & Herald to report story on Troy (with Doglost mention of course) so if he's been nicked or 'taken in' hopefully he'll get back where he belongs.

Loopylurcher and I have covered the Olympiad side of Monkton Park, going into town with posters, but as both of us live out of the area, and can not get back until next weekend, could do with some help covering the rest. I have spoken to the owner, unfortunately the sighting on the Bath Road was not Troy. The owner thinks he could be in the Monkton Park area.

Troy's elderly owner does not have access to a computer, so please if there is anyone in the area who could help with the posters, it would be much appreciated.Helpers in the area have been mailed the poster.
