I have spoken to the person who found the deceased dog and it has been confirmed it is Lassie by her owner, who is understandably very upset. I have also liaised with dog wardens for the area, and they are going to try and retrieve Lassie's collar for Annie, her owner.

Annie, Lassie's owner has confirmed it is her collar, so I am trying to contact the person who found the dog and collar for more details of where the dog is exactly.

I am in regular contact with Lassie's owner Annie, leaving it up to her when she wishes to make contact. As she is very ill, she is resting a lot of the time.
There have been no sightings of Lassie at all up to now. I emailed posters and fliers to owner and her partner has been helping to get them out.

Can anyone in the area please print off posters for Lassie's owner? She is in poor health, has no printer and has an elderly parent to care for.
