- Spoke to owner again today. There have been no sightings at all. They have searched the area around where the open mine shaft is, & the undergowth there is very thick & undisturbed, so feel it is unlikely they have gone down it.
I have advised re further postering, as someone may have taken the dogs in thinking they were strays from traveller site & not get them checked for a chip. - 2014-12-09 21:37 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Circulating on facebook and twitter. I hope Lacy is home soon

- Will put all relevant comments on this page to save duplication.
Advice sheets sent to owner. All local vets & dog warden/microchip company informed.
With owners permission, have made contact with Archies owner (Lucy), who also went missing in this same area & passed on her phone number. Lucy actually sighted these 2 dogs on Saturday (details were posted to doglost cornwall fb page. She will liaise & show their owner where they were sighted & the location of the open mine shaft, & re-check the area around it for signs of disturbance.
Hopefully these 2 are off having an adventure. Pics will be posted asap.
local cornwall fb pages will be updated. - 2014-12-08 18:32
- Sorry to see that LACEY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
