Have spent a lot of time getting close to the Leatherhead dog over the last couple of days and I'm afraid I don't think he's Creamy :(Last edited: 2015-04-14 08:24:20 by csquaredb

Dog ID 85377 now has a picture of the dog and they look extremly similar. Both have red collars on as well.

Please look at found dog id 85377. Still running scared round Leatherhead area. Trying to get a photo of him.

The Leatherhead dog evidently doesn't belong to any of the local traveller communities - somebody has checked. I've rung Creamy's owners, so they are aware of this dog and also given them the police reference number, so that hopefully if he does get caught, they'll be able to check whether or not he is Creamy. He seems to be moving between Ashtead and Leatherhead, unfortunately using the railway line as a route between the two. If anyone does see him, please ring the police on 101 and give the reference p15086485.

Saw a dog matching this discription run across Randalls Rd, Leatherhead this morn into the football Club in River Lane at 9.45 this morning. Tried to catch the dog as I live down that road but he/she was too quick. Was running scared. Not seen a dog like this before on travellers site and I drive past it everyday although I wouldn't know to be fair if they have one but two very small dogs always roaming around their site entrance.
Unknown
This dog is believed to belong to the traveller site by Leatherhead dump. Has been seen at the Splash and by the Crematorium.

Probably a long shot, but there's a white lurcher type dog that has been spotted several times in the Leatherhead area over the last couple of days. The police are aware reference p15086485, so would be worth ringing 101 to see if there are any updates. Didn't get close enough to know whether male or female, but wearing a red collar. Was Creamy wearing a collar when he went missing? Lots of locals keeping an eye out for him/her.

Sorry to see that CREAMY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (79477)

  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
