Penfold is safe at home. The relief! A kind family in Compton Martin took him in for the night and we now have him back. Thanks so much to everyone. Extendable lead is definitely going in the bin. (Owners mum)

Oh thank goodness ! :)
Extendable leads should be banned, there a menace and owners are unaware how dangerous they are are to human and any dog :(
badapplegill
Wonderful news, now get rid of the extendable lead cos a timid dog when bolting will just become even more scared with that rattling behind.

Not yet found but a possible sighting between blagdon and ubley. If anyone sees him he will be less frightened if you crouch down. My husband will be searching again this am (Owner's mum)

Someone has shared minimal details on the cockapoo club group on Facebook through Penfold's breeder's vets! I've shared this page within the comments. I really hope he comes home soon.

@dogfriendfrome has tweeted this - a bit off the track from Blagdon but you never know, someone might pick it up and be over that way or tweet it and have friends over there. Hope this boy soon home.
