Have great pleasure in uploading a REUNITED photo of the gorgeous KYE back home with his dad and looking happy to be there.

As a GSD owner I know how much a one man dog they are and such big wimps. Wishing him a very happy future in his new home.

WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who helped get him back home you are all stars. xxx

IMPORTANT UPDATE -
the dog in crown lane couldnt have been kye the address at that street has jsut told us it wasnt a red collar he was wearing!!
this means the last sighting was tuesday morning - pawsons road which ties in with the sightings from warminster road etc. we need to redirect all posters back to this area please and pick him up again
shane2006
Thank you C.J. I'm sure your e-mail will help find Kye safe and sound, best of luck to everyone who is working hard to find him. Please keep us updated.
k9partnersteamilbreydogrescue
We are the rescue who placed him and know his full background, yes he is nervous in new surroundings and was even with me for 2 days yet he already new me but then he adjusts and settles and is the most lovely laid back lad you could meet. his chip number il get sent to dog lost as we do have it. what we ned now is a sighting of him as its been over 24 hours since anyone heard or saw him, until then canvas all areas is needed ive put a map of the areas he has been seen in order on his find kye facebook page, and he isnt far off completing a circular loop! lets hope and pray a sighting comes in and we can go from there
DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
I have sent an email to owner giving advise to help catch him. As only been with family for a short while its more difficult to advise usual scenting methods. Have also suggested check with recue his history if they have one to see if nervous of anything etc.

PLEASE UPDATE CHIP NUMBER as not on site yet and linked to halo scanner where many are now use. This cannot be seen by public only the person who puts the dog on site plus those with admin access.

I put posters about Kye up on Tuesday in South Norwood, Upper Norwood, Thornton Heath and elmers end road. They are also at every entrance to South Norwood County park and a few tram stops as well as the main stations.
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
Can any of the anyone please confirm if extra leafles have been put up at Sainsbury, Stratham Common Streatham amd Stretham Hill Station?
Kye could also come back in the area so posters should be put up also in his original area
robt
No sighing of him yesterday , more flyers at gypsy hill train station , Norwood park , main entrance south Norwood lakes , asda crystal palace at bust stop and lamp post more scattered around . If anyone can keep an eye out around tooting etc I would be grateful

It seems like you need some help from the experts on this site, I can't understand why you are not getting any. I have only had my own experience on catching dogs, but I do know that nobody should try to make a "grab for him that will only spook him more than he already is. It is good that there are lots of people on the lookout but you do not want everyone on his trail once he is spotted, and you should be doing the tracking him slowly slowly so he does not feel threatened, also ask people that have spotted him to keep their distance. My apologies if I have offended anyone but only thinking of Kye's safety, has anyone suggested setting a trap where he seems to be feeding I know this would take time but you need to gain his confidence. There are lots of things to be learnt and as I said I am no expert so can someone help who knows how to go about catching KYE, I know all those concerned must be doing their best.
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
Admin Could you please wide the alerts area. Kye travel 5.3 miles in one day. He could easily go to Tooting, Mitcham, Tulse Hill, Sydeham etc
Rescue organization and Rob - you should contact the local newpapers too now and put a small article in there.
We need hundreds of leaflets out we will not get sightings without those. We needs several posters at all local stations not just one or two, supermarkets, school, roads should be target one by one. We need to push fast kye has now been missing for 5 days and he relies on us for help.
We need helpers please with flyers the more and quick we can put them up the better! Can we all ask friends, family neighbours.
robt
hgi all need a sighting hes gone to ground again or started moving elsewhere he hasn't been seen all day so far , more flyers going up tonight .thank you once again for everyones help
Shelagh
Good luck. Hope you get him.

Hi Monica superb news I'll be back up this afternoon /evening and hopefully we may have some luck , as long as he doesn't bolt when he sees you , I think he would have gone back to the summer house and out he'll go back to 39 for food hopefully . Give me a call later I'm in Welwyn garden city and Then farnborough in meetings but I'll be back up ASAP .

Update - I spoke again to no 39 Crown Lane and I have gain access tomorrow at 07:00 am to jump her fences as I strongly believe Kay is now in the back gardens of the houses between Crown Lanes and Ryecroft Lane. He feels secure there. He possibly go in by side gate of no 35 as they have building work. Left a message to no 4 Ryecroft lane to keep their GSD indoor tomorrow between 07:00 and 09:00 as I hope they will do so. I spoke to many neighbours asking them to keep an eye opened for Kye. Owner on no 39 has not left the food down as her garden is full of foxes so he would be pointless. I have to agree as I saw a few roaming while I was there. Kye is jumpimg from no 8 ryecroft to no 39. I have found his way and I will follow his steps in that direction to start. I have had no time to inform all neighbours so hope to jump as many fences as possible until I find him. I suggest to leave leaflets through letterbox in evey single house aroung that block. We could handwrite at the back to keep an eye in their garden. Weather will be bad tonight we must push to find him asap. I will leave location at 09:15 and I can be back at 12:00 until 16:00. I will update you in am. xxxx

Fingers crossed here

We believe he is going back to the same house on crown lane and staying in the gardens between both sides of ryecroft there are people looking for him during the day tomorrow and his bedding is in the summer house at the house he keeps going back to and the owner nearly had him but at least he's been fed and watered , I will be back up there tomorrow evening and all the fantastic people who have helped out to find him your all stars :-) hugs to all
Shelagh
Try to find secluded garden down ryecroft. Maybe gent owners on board. Put bowl of water inside garden and small amount of food. He was in crown lane yesterday so he may have found food source,if not he will keep going back to secluded garden.
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
I will join forces in half hour. I have put posters at Selhirst station and I was planning to do it in Streatham Common, streatham and Streatham Hill Station. Last edited: 2014-12-16 19:13:12 by Monica - Area Volunteer, South London

Hi, sighting in the last hour I believe at 39 Crown Lane & Ryecroft SW16. I've just been at top of common by cafe calling out and spread the word to couple of joggers up there. Hope he is reunited soon!
k9partnersteamilbreydogrescue
can anyone else help today so we can get a recent sighting? not to approach him jsut to keep him in sight? xx
robt
Been back to South norwood and checked and also where he was last seen near streatham common this morning number of people looking but no sighting since yesterday afternoon . Thanks to everyone for looking for him :-)
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
I was looking for him for 2 hours last night and this am for an hour. I am a dog therapist and also work with rescue dogs. Happy to help searching and putting posters up. My suggestion is to add on the poster that he get scared when approached. We don't want Kye to keep running and leave the area.
AlisonH
Bumped due to the sightings.
robt
kye was seen today this afternoon in crown lane near streatham common he was also seen heading down ryecroft road we have put lots of flyers up in this area and also down to norbury park , biggin woods , norwood grove all of these parks have lots of wooded areas he could be hiding in also all the houses alleys gardens etc if we can get another sighting we may be able to get there quick enough as he keeps running when approached .
robt
been back round the area this afternoon and going again this evening , all the vets are aware locally and lots of dog walkers as well . we just need to make sure he gets back safely . there are a lot of places he can be or can go from where we last saw him running but hes is probably keeping hidden as we found him behind some flats in a bush this morning but he just kept running and we couldn't get close enough to try and grab him , a few people tried but he just swerved them .
Shelagh
If you do get sighting head there with a box of chicken. Most can't resist smell and might lure him out. Once you know his hiding place makes lot easier to get plan together for capture. Good luck.
robt
we have also looked in grange park , the old allotments nearby also south norwood lakes, hw wa on whitehorse lane but hes definitely gone to ground we will be out looking for him later with some additional helpers . thank you for all your help .
k9partnersteamilbreydogrescue
please can anyone help canvas this area just to keep the sightings up on him? and to hand posters out etc?

UPDATE: Myself, the owners and a small group of helpers have been trying to catch this boy this morning. There have been sightings in the South Norwood/Thornton Heath area (Whitehorse Road, Warminster Road, Dixon Road) but he runs off when approached. He is very frightened and more likely to come to women. He seems to be lying low in wooded or bushy areas. If you are local and spot him, please call the owner so we can make our way down. Thank you xxx
Choccy
Kye has been spotted near Norwood Lakes Area, He ran off again and is frightened. Last seen heading towards Whitehorse Road!
Shelagh
Have all 24 hr vets been checked. Animal Samaritans are close by. My son is back over there and they are close to where he went missing he will look out for him
