- My daughter passed this message to me, looking at the description I don't think its Abbie, the chip she has is up to date and the dog trust who did the chip have been informed that she is lost so I would hope to hear if she is ever found, thanks for you help!

- Also left message on 1571 service for number given above in respect of found 91212 as nothing heard back since my post of 10th September. Having said that, apparently 91212 is micro chipped so as long as details were up to date then if it was Abbie owner should have been notified by now.Last edited: 2015-09-16 13:43:09 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

- This really is a long shot but please have a look at Found 91212 - it is listed as a Collie Cross but after being on the run for several weeks since it was first sighted, it is now with Cornwall Dog Warden and listed as a Border Collie. There is a full description of how it was captured on the Doglost Cornwall facebook page. Email also sent to registered email address on 10th September.Last edited: 2015-09-16 13:42:21 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland

- Confirmed Capricorn dog was male and hence not Abbie. Spoke to rescue and owners.
Search continues around the Farms Common to Porkellis farm areas, so please keep a look out. - 2015-04-24 10:00 Tiana
- Does look similar but Liverpool long way up but definitely worth checking out - have notified owners. Also Abbie was sighted 6 Jan within 3 miles of her home, so unlikely same dog as on Capricorn page.

- Constantine dog unfortunately not Abbie and was reunited with owners. Believe Abbie is still sheltering on farmers land around Farms Common, so posters still up and hopefully when she shows herself we'll get further sightings.

- One picked up by dog warden at Constantine, which is only 4 miles from where Abbie went missing. Have left message on mobile number of daughter who I have liaised with in the past ( found ref 82594)

- Fantastic to hear there's been a positive sighting of Abbie and is looking healthy. I postered and flyered Farms Common to Black Rock before Christmas but I would imagine they would need refreshing. Not sure I will be able to get out this week to help.
She must be sheltering somewhere close to the sighting.
Hoping to see her home soon.

- From owners daughter: a farmer confirmed sighting on his land on Tuesday morning and I've just spoken with his wife to work with them to try to get this girl safely home. Ironically I know the farmer concerned so fingers crossed it's just a matter of time, he'll keep good look out for us now on his many acres.
- 2015-01-11 18:29 Tiana
- Positive sighting of Abbie (who is reportedly looking healthy and mobile)approx. 3.5 miles away from original location where she went missing, on rural farm land between Farms Common B3297 and Black Rock B3280 early morning.
Please keep an eye out if you are able to search nearby. Nearly 4 weeks now, need to get this girl home.
If you can print & put up fresh posters in the vicinity, it would be appreciated to maintain awareness. Thank you! - 2015-01-04 08:24 Phoenix

- Abbie was sighted on the evening of 24/12 by owners daughter Alison, on the road at Medlyn Moor towards Carnkie (wendron), she jumped over a hedge acroos the road in front of the car!! She looked healthy, albeit a little dishevelled. Scenting has been done in area & more posters have gone up. Owners doing everything they can & have been out searching exhaustively.

- 11 days missing.. please keep an eye out and help us find this girl.

- jenny4. I have spoken to the man in the know re open mines & they will not be able to do a search of a shaft unless there is some sort of positive evidence (i.e barking/whimpering) of a dog being there, as there are too many shafts/holes & it takes a long time to rig things up.
- 2014-12-21 17:37 Unknown
- Can you get the mine people out to do a search ?
- 2014-12-21 17:02 Tiana
- Well done with search earlier, as I'm passing Carnkie tomorrow I will poster further a field and keep a look out. Come on Abbie, time to come home.
- 2014-12-21 14:55 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- Well we did an extensive search of very difficult terrain. Marsh/bog/hills/scrub/mining area. Sadly nothing.
We spoke to neighbours & one chap did say he saw what he thought was a collie on the road to Carnkie (Wendron),possibly day after she went missing, so owners going to poster there.
Another possible sighting on evening she went missing was close to Alisons house (daughter of owner), but there was a lot of activity that night which could have spooked her, if it was her. This was up near the mine shafts at the back of her house. Alison is going to go at dusk when it will be quieter to listen again. There are several open holes (some very deep & inaccesible). The pub at Stithians has a poster & hopefully more will go up. Another helper is going to try & poster towards four lanes.
Stay safe Abbie - 2014-12-21 13:36 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- There are plenty of posters around the area Abbie went missing. I started to add more in Four Lanes but ran out of pins, so can anyone poster here and also Stithians area?
Looking for possible abseilers/climbers who are willing and up for a challenge to help search the mines in the Porkellis area. I have given owner the local mine expert who may be able to give further advice. Hoping for good news soon. - 2014-12-20 18:51 Unknown
- Good luck , hope you find her....dont forget to check for any mine shafts xx
- 2014-12-20 17:41 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- There is going to be a search tomorrow 21/12
Meeting 8am
Directions. From Four lanes, take Helston Rd (B3297), turn left at Poldark Mine, go past PM up to Star Inn on right, go left down hill past chapel on right.
At bottom of hill turn right before Iron Bridge, stay on road until see Lower Boswin Barn. There is a laybay on right.
Bring wellies, as is going to be wet. Thanks - 2014-12-19 19:56 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall
- Thanks Tiana. I've heard there's a possible search for Abbie this Sunday. I'm waiting to hear more

- Abbie is on rural land between Porkellis, Middle Boswin - possibly towards Four Lanes or Stithians. Need lots of posters up please to help raise awareness, if anyone is local and can help?
She is not far from home so hopefully will return safe soon. Owners actively out searching for her, as she also has a brother at home waiting for her. Possible sighting earlier being followed up, so all help appreciated.Last edited: 2014-12-19 13:42:44 by Tiana - 2014-12-18 21:16 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall

- Have spoken to owner. There was a possible sighting near Barncoose Hospital, redruth/Pool, which as the crow flies is not too far from where she went missing.
Have sent out advice sheets & given general advice. Passed on dog wardens details, as she has had difficulty getting through!
