Jenlwal, I just came to post about that dog too, as she made me think of Sally as soon as I saw the photo. Not sure the colouring is right though. Sally is mostly black and the found dog is brindle on the body.Last edited: 2016-01-05 17:35:27

Please check Found in the pound facebook page as there is an old lady just like Sally been found in South Wales area, needs medical attention and looks similar and of older generation bless her. Really hope it's her.

Just thinking ... try postering the local doctor surgeries around that area, elderly people spend a lot of time in them. Make sure the nurses see them. Also Day Centres for elderly respite. Also try posting to facebook 'for sale' pages locally, or other pages where a local workman may advertise. Or Help the Aged, or Housing Associon/Council lists of odd-job-men. My apologies if all of this has already been done. Good luck XLast edited: 2015-02-26 14:22:42 by Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall

POSSIBLE SIGHTING

***Sally is still missing - latest update***
A dog matching Sally's description was taken in by an old couple in Seaton Sluice just before Christmas, thinking she was stray. The couple were having some work done after Christmas and were telling the workman that they couldn't exercise her etc. and would he like to take her, which he did because she was so friendly. A man and woman in Cullercoats now have the dog and we want to get in touch with them to see if it is Sally. We have put posters up all over Cullercoats towards Tynemouth and have still heard no news. The woman and dog matching Sally's description haven't been seen since. The man who relayed this information, said the photos on the posters of Sally didn't really show enough of her, so can I please ask you all to share her page which has lots more photos, also if you know the old couple in Seaton Sluice, the couple in Cullercoats with a dog watching Sally's description or even the company that the man worked for, please let us know, Sally isn't stray, she has a home where she is loved and missed and we desperately want her back. **CASH REWARD STILL STANDS** we want our girl home xxx

The link is now unavailable. It was a rescue in Southern Ireland, but I imagine it has found its owner if the post has been taken off. I will have a look around the FB groups just in case.

Possible sighting of Sally in Cullercoats with a tall thin lady. We heard that someone may have had her before Christmas and now this lady is looking after her. We need to get her home, it's been nearly a month with no medication. Can everyone in and around Cullercoats please look out for her. Thank you x

I am going to sound like a crack pot and please don’t criticize me but I can look at some images and sense things. So the ones I sense things with (doesn’t happen with all animals) I have kept an eye on and have been right but never said anything incase I am wrong and didn’t want to upset anyone. I still could be wrong but I have to say.

At this moment, I sense Sally is alive and wandering but in the wrong direction . Ie away from the boatyard. I may be picking things up from when she first went missing or could be right now. So expand search away from the boatyard in appropriate directions. I am not saying to stop searching in the immediate area in case I am wrong or in sighted areas. But she is just plodding along in the wrong direction. She has lost her way. I don’t think she is distressed. I don’t see a built up area. I see nature (TREES). I sense that to find her, the search has to be further afield. She is trying bless her and I think trying to come back and thinks she is doing right. I sense when she rests it is under bushes / nature etc. I don’t sense she is with people. She is on her own and doing ok.

I could be wrong as I know she has been sighted in built up areas. Lady (80797) was sighted picked up by two europeans outside the co op but it turned out and elderley man had picked her up two days after going missing and looked after her all this time until he saw her in the paper. Worth a consideration.

Again, and I could be wrong, as it stands today, I sense she wil come home if the search area is expanded and I sense that is search is important. I feel I need to write this because she is heading away from where she was with her family.

In general, could she have began her journey on a route that she normally walks with her owner?
