- A lost beagle was sighted near the River Meadows Care Home, Park Piece, Kineton - none had been reported missing to the vet practice, sothere's a chance it could be Jake.

- Following on from a very negative experience the Coventry Evening Telegraph has published an article about the attempts at extortion made by an anonymous emailer who, earlier in the year, said that he had got Jake and would let his family have him back if they paid him money but that he would harm Jake if they didn't pay. The story went national, having been picked up by the Telegraph, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/11489387/Scammers-target-family-who-appealed-for-help-online-to-find-their-missing-beagle.html,
and has now gone international with an article being published on a Portugese website http://www.noticiasaominuto.com/mundo/365118/pedem-resgate-de-290-euros-por-cao-desaparecido
Let's hope that this massive boost in publicity helps to bring Jake home - 2015-03-16 09:02 Linda
- Thanks Donna,it's not Jake.

- We have been told by several people that the possible sighting in Ryton on Dunsmore was not Jake but one of the few beagles that live in the village. Thank you for featuring Jake in the Countrymans Weekly, hopefully this will raise his profile with people who are out in the countryside.

- Early this morning a slim chance Jake was seen on Hall Meadow Road between Grove Field and the Station Road island in Balsall Common. It may have been a fox or he may have moved on by now so keep looking everywhere please.

- After 3 days missing it is possible that Jake could be anywhere in a 30 mile radius. We are now covering a bigger area with leaflets and posters.

- We have had 2 possible sightings, one more positive than the other, both saying he was being walked on the greenway Sunday 28th afternoon with other dogs. The walker left the greenway around the Burton Green/ Red Lane/ Westwood Heath area but heard nothing more. We would like to confirm or rule out this sighting, so if you know of anyone in these areas with a chocolate Beagle or similar dog please let us know.
