When is a Border Collie not a Border collie? when it is picked up by a dog warden. She looks how a Border Collie should look. I am almost stuck for words, hence the harshness of my comment above. Definitely treat to a microchip if not done already though. Bless her, stay close now lovely.

Well done Nadogz5 & Helen, I looked on a few times, but you were such a cracking team and tenacity paid off. Last edited: 2015-01-17 08:13:55 by Bobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex

Fantastic news x welcome back zoey!!

Zoey curled up on sofa by fire won't let us out of her sight, even being nice to snowball the cat. She will be getting chipped when vet opens. Can't thank you all enough, we all had a lovely new years day. Hope others have same good result. Helen

I had asked Juniper if she was close by to this dog, so very happy that she could help you.

picked zoey up this morning. been at kennels since monday. council had her registered as a different breed, not border collie so when i rang them three times a day i kept getting told no dog had been found. Thanks to juniper (I think) who suggested trying kennels in honiton, which I did. Owner told me to try dog warden, which I did again and was told no dogs been found, went back to him and he asked for my telephone no, said someone would ring me back. He sorted it out with council told them zoey had been taken to his kennels by dog warden and had been there since monday. and he opened up this morning for us to collect her. If anybody looses a dog don't rely on dog wardens/councils in this area, phone up the kennels direct if you get no joy with the councils. I don't know what would have happened if we hadn't rang the kennels as zoey was not registered on council system. Thank y you to everyone who has helped look for zoey. thank you. Helen

No joy from me today I'm afraid! I've seen loads of posters along hulham and dinan way, I spoke to the horse lady on higher marley too, she said she knew you guys and was already aware. I met your dad at kings too, he was taking a walk with posters too, and I've spoken to juniper so know she has given you some advice too.
So very hard when here is no sightings, evenings are one of the best times to try and spot her, if you need any help tonight walking fields etc please shout, I have wellies and a good torch! Last edited: 2014-12-30 17:29:00 by Harrjak

Hi madogz we live up Marley drive (the road with tangle wood on it) so she went missing from there, our garden backs on the the field that leads to the top end of dinan way (end without traffic lights) so we think this is where she would be but is deffinatly not missing in Budleigh if possible could you link me to this post ?
Thanks again for all your help my mum (Helen) is out in dinan way now putting up posters I'm James her son
Harrjak
Morning Helen, which part did she actually go missing on? K9 search dogs are usually happy to help aswell, I can go out again today but need to know where best to look really? Lots of shares on facebook, there is a post however making it sound like she is missing in Budleigh which gets confusing? It was posted as a screen shot?
helen
thank you madogz we take zoey for walks along exe view, I have been around dinan way calling her and am putting up posters today. she is quite nervous and doesn't like cars, chases them. Thanks for your help.
AlisonH
Thank you madogz5. Make sure you get plenty of posters put up in the area in case the person who picked up the collie is holding on to her until she can find the owner. Not everyone uses the internet or knows that by law they have to report a found dog to the dog warden.
Harrjak
Hiya, have been out and about for a while but no sign, did hulham and along exe view (til my van said it was too slippery) hulham I also went along beside the house for sale tanglewood, can't remember the road name! Also been along all the roads off of higher marley, as there's a fair few, bunn road also

I'm only on meadow view, give me a shout of you need help tomorrow! Don't forget exmouth vets aren't 24 hours, ring all the exeter ones tomorrow aswell as the exmouth and Budleigh ones :-) hopefully someone picked her up and are waiting for the vets / dog warden office to be open :-) ×
helen
Corner house vets had "herd" of a collie being picked up by a lady in a car in dinan way at about 16:30 but nothing has been reported to anyone (vets, police etc) and that's all we know so far
We have been around dinan way calling her etc but have had no joy so far thanks for the help tho :)
AlisonH
Sorry this is all the info we have. You could give the owner a call on the number above.
Harrjak
