Friday 19th I went to look at an Akita that was supposed to be for sale, then suddenly wasn't circumstances seemed a bit suspiciuos, I don't know where this bitch has come from but it has only very recently appeared in the area, she looks remarkably like the picture that of Maya. I am in the S-O-T area of Staffordshire which isn't a million miles away from Cannock, I was alerted because she was originally being offered quite cheap for such a beautiful dog. If I can help in any way please get in touch, don't want to raise any false hopes but I would love for it to be her. Good luckxx

Sadly my contact has come back to say the Akita found was a different colour. Will continue to ask about, as I have family and friends in the Cannock area and other parts of the chase.

A little further away, I know, but I will keep a look out in the Aldridge area. I godaily to the Airport there and will put the word out amongst local dog walkers there.

After being featured in the local press today owner has just had a report of a stray presumed dumped Akita in Blockswitch,Walsall-about 7 miles away from where she went missing.

I hope Maya is found soon. Someone must have seen her or have hold of her looking for her owners. She is such a gorgeous girl.I presume the owners have done all the necessary phoning of rescue/police and dog wardens/vets in the area. She'll be home soon I'm sure. Stay safe sweetheart. x

Found posted on another site 2 Akitas 1 Dog all white 1 Bitch white with markings Handed to Kings Heath police last night.10.12.06 Not sure how close this is to Cannock but it is in Birmingham.
