This is a long shot, but on my way to work at 0640 this morning, I was travelling from Marksbury towards Keynsham and just after the short dual carriageway ends there is a lane on the left heading down towards (I think) Hunstrete. Anyway, there was a Springer running along the road towards me and it turned down this lane. I couldn't stop as I had my twin babies in the back and with no spare lead in the car etc, I couldn't abandon them and look for the dog as by the time I could've turned around, the dog would've gone. If you want any info, please e-mail me. The dog looked quite old and I think was wearing a collar. Sam x

There is a dog on the "Friends of Southglos Strays" Facebook page that looks very much like Bramble. They have given it the name Zara.

springer bitch -guessed age about 10 at Shoram rehoming center =not sure of her circumstances -but worth a look=======am told there is a photograph......www.dogs trust.org.ukgood site to check out for all who have lost dogs as it covers dogs taken in from all over the country.........

The Cotswold Show is at Cirencester Park (Glos) on the 7th and 8th of July and there are many BACS gundog events on both days so lots of Springers will be there, so could be well worth a visit.
