Benny has been found!! After 48 hours he's just walked back into the house! So overwhelmed and thankful for all of the help we've recieved!
Lisamsaunders1
A few people have brought their dogs down today to try and help, very overwhelmed with all the help we've had. Numerous sightings of him on field at end of Jackswood Avenue but each time he's approached he's running away. Fingers crossed we can catch him soon
rottie
silly idea possibly but has he any dog friends that he normally plays with that you could take with you if sighted again, might be able to get another dog to draw him in closer and then perhaps with a lot of patience and nice food could perhaps get him, has a neighbour a dog you could borrow quickly when next sighted or a kind friend with a dog you know would perhaps let you dog sit for a day or so you you are ready when next sighted. most recent sighting again close to home by the looks of things, is there any chance he might be making his way back then going again? have you tried leaving food outside the house? x Vicky

Lisamsaunders1
Yes very close to where we live which is a good thing I suppose. Another sighting by Westminster bridge approx 2.30pm
rottie
looking at the map all sighting quite local to where you live, is it worth putting bed and food outside just on the off chance he might be making his way home, atleast might want him to keep near, might not be possible just a thought, if not a bed something he knows a blanket perhaps. best of luck
Lisamsaunders1
Not heard of any further sightings since approx 10am

Poor Benny - he must be so frightened. :(

Not sure if this helps at all, but this article does include some ideas of how best to approach him if he's seen again this morning.
