- Helen - owner has been told that where she went missing borders 3 different authorities - i have given him the dog warden list of numbers but do you know which districts it is that he should be contacting please.
Stella was last sighted on Christmas day near the school in Elm, Owner himself has seen her but wasn't able to get near her. She is friendly- used to children and good with other dogs but will be nervous of people she doesnt know. - 2015-01-05 18:28 Fratsax
- Thanks for everyone's help
Hopefully she can be found - 2015-01-05 18:15 ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland
- The George at Stamford have sent me some more photos which i have showed the owner- who now thinks it is not thesame dog though markedly similar. Owner of Stella has also sent me another photo of stella showing an obvious marking to her face which the found does not have. will move found to reunited. Shame it is not stella but at least dog has found her home :)

- Earlier today a local person to me posted ref a found dog (id 80941) that had escaped from them and ran into the george hotel at stamford. i contacted them for more info and was given a photo of the found dog, as i was posting her onto the found pages i quickly looked for a poss local match and saw Stella had been put to the top of the lost - i then contacted the owner of Stella who agreed that the found dog had the same markings and looked like Stella, the found dog had been scanned for a chip and none found - but Stella is microchipped. Stella's owner is convinced that the found dog is Stellea but after us both having a conversation with the South Kesteven Env Health customer service lady- we were both told that the found dog had been returned to its owners- someone who had phoned up and claimed her.Currently waiting for owner to contact me again with an update.
