Well spotted Hilary, but if you look more closely you will see that Ainsley right leg has black running into it where Oscars is all white. Keep checking!! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is a Black & White Border Collie in the found section on www.petsearchuk.org.uk. Its ref no 438 and it was brought in on 09/01/07, i dont think he was found near your area but its worth a try. Good luck. xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Come home soon handsome Oscar. I have added his details to my forum Find Missing Dogs (http://findmissingdogs.proboards67.com/index.cgi) & to TRPD Pet Craft Project. I live in the NG22 are of Nottingham but unfortunately I am off to France tommorow but I have given my dad a couple of Oscar's posters to display in his shop in Hucknall. Good luck. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I agree with Owl and SaraJayne that it sounds like someone has Oscar. The one good thing about being picked up is that the muzzle will be off. Those posters need to be up again, and let's hope there's something in the local paper tomorrow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Excellent news, thank you all. I suggested Doglost to the owners' sister, though I don't know her very well and am not in regular contact with her, hence my particular interest despite being many miles away, and my not knowing much of what's going on. If the posters have been pulled down that makes me think someone has him and doesn't want to part with him, or doesn't want others to see the posters as they want to claim to have found him to get the reward... Just heard back. No sightings of Oscar, but the good news is that owner is pretty sure he could have got his muzzle off if he had really tried. A notice will be in the paper tomorrow. Lots of posters have been put up but many have been pulled down. Oscar's mum thinks someone has picked him up and kept him, as he is a very friendly fellow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have left a message with my phone numbers on owner's voicemail, asking for any updates and explaining I would like to check what has been done so far and what still needs doing. Will post on here as soon as they call back.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

SaraJayne, I don't think the owner has registered. But I agree, the muzzle does make it crucial.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Is there anyone local who can help with vets, posters etc? With a muzzle on this poor youngster really needs finding quickly. I wish I could help but I am in Kent. Hurry home safely Oscar xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
