He sounds like my dogs, is he a Beddie lurcher or a larger deerhound lurcher? Any photo available yet??

Try calling the lady who runs a rescue in the borders. The website is www.arthurshiel.org Very helpful and is contacted by all the local wardens to pick up dogs from Moffat to Berwick! Good Luck!

Whereabouts in the Scottish Borders? My post code is TD9 Newcastleton area & I do alot of walking in the forests. If it's near me I can take my dogs out to search.
