- Hi Donna, hi SueW,
Thanks both for your comments. The dog in Woking is not Charlie I,m afraid. I am sure she is somewhere between Theale and Reading as the River Kennet joins there. But I just don't think she will be that far from home. The river was very fast the night she disappeared so she may have gone quite a way before hopefully dragging herself out. It has been over 4 weeks now so we are losing some hope.x - 2015-02-15 13:41 Donna
- Any news yet please?

Also mentions that she blind as just seen your comment below about Charlies eyes, I have googled the woking to reading and its not too far away, I really hope it is Charlie as it sounds very promising age, sex, colour, eyesight, fingers crossed xLast edited: 2015-02-15 00:39:49 by Donna - 2015-02-13 18:37 SueW
- Maltuck did you contact C&RT? If the guys come across her they might not think to check here. The water has been running fast and would have eventually reached county lock. Navigations have been closed. Get posters handed out to boaters along there. I have put details on boat websites when this first came out and am just checking - hoped page would be blue :(

- Hi Guys, Thanks for the links but sorry not Charlie. She has cataract over her left eye and a grey nose but black apart from that. I continue to walk the river banks but am thinking the river has taken her. Thanks to all for keeping their eyes open.

- I walked along the canal today, downstream of CM and sorry to say, nothing. If there's anything more I can do, please let me know
- 2015-01-11 20:24 MalTuck
- Thanks Joe, that would be much appreciated. If she made it past Burghfield Mill weir then she would have been carried further downstream.

- Lots of friends are re-sharing on Facebook so let's hope we get some good news soon.
I am happy to take a walk along the Kennet, downstream of the Cunning Man, tomorrow, if you want. - 2015-01-11 17:19 MalTuck
- Hi all thank you for all your messages. We have walked both sides of the River Kennet today from Theale garston lock to Burghfield Mill both side. No sign of Charlie. We are so lost as to know what to do next. She definitely fell in the Kennet as we have scratch marks on the decking. She is 13y old but very heathy and strong. We are hoping she scrambled out. Those walking downstream from the cunning man please look out for her.
