Wow, wow, wow! Saw a post that Beans had been reunited but had to message owner Emma to make sure it was true! This is her reply:
"It's true, picked him up today a lady found him in East malling wandering around and took him to vets for microchip. Still can't believe it! Has settled back in with other dogs looks very healthy thanks again for all your support"

Many, many thanks to that kind lady for taking Beans to safety and getting him scanned.

I'm fairly certain I saw him yesterday in Chislehurst. He had a red collar we spent an hour trying to catch him but he wouldn't let us near him. He eventually went into a back garden and out the back on to Chislehurst golf club and we lost him. He looked ok but quite thin.

I emailed both Emma (and the animal wardens service) suggesting she double check on the found lurcher. Had replies now and Emma will contact them to give details and check on the found dog. Bit of a long shot but you never know.

As Emma was following the story of the loose lurcher in Bexhill I have to assume that she double checked with the Dog Wardens that it was not Beans. I'm sure she would have but I have emailed her just to make sure.
vicky .. where about is the dog that you have spotted as found please? Is it with Dog Wardens at Arun? Please would you let us have the link so we can have a look? Thanks.

The dog mentioned below has been caught this morning but I have no photo of him/her so can't say if it could be Beans. The dog is being handed over to the local RSPCA so would be a good idea to contact them in case it is him.

Similar dog sighted in Broad Oak park area of Bexhill on Sea. Helpers have been unable to contain the aninmal. Owners have been advised.

It has been suggested that 81233 is a similar dog found from same area although looks darker in colour and more whippety to me but thought this ought to be double checked? Xx

A lurcher and a spaniel were reportedly picked up by basildon dog warden..The lurcher was injured and has been taken to Cherrydown vets basildon 01268 533636. Or contact basidon dog warden. Might be worth checking as could have been dumped.
