I have just spoken to Mandy, Sky's owner. Sky has had a check up and is perfectly fine - here is a message from her owner:

Sky been vets shes good and hasn't lost her character Claire Gresty I appreciate all your help babe so much !! I will be making a donation to dogs lost website and to local dog homes very soon. Thank you... Never give up looking for your dog, we didn't and the result came xxx

Just seen this on Chorley Police site.....A Staffordshire Bull Terrier has been found within the last hour on Bolton Street, it is only a small pup about 4-6 months old. If you have lost the puppy please contact Chorley Police on 101 with the reference LC-20140125-1169.
