- Thanks Claire and Fiona for bringing this to my attention. I have just shared the doglost poster and added on my Facebook time line. I don't think it's her because the ears appear a bit long like a full spaniel and there seems to be a bit less white on her chest. Having said that it's close. Penny was spayed and microchip per and the report does not say if the dog has been scanned. I will contact Gloucester Police in the morning and repost then.

- Can't help thinking this is a stolen dog who has been dumped. I read somewhere else that she had had a litter recently. Maybe dog stolen a few years ago even ?

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
