Thankfully both Peppercorn and Nutmeg have been found safe, they were stuck down the same rabbit hole, thankfully Nutmeg barked so the owner could follow the bark and rescue them.

I have spoken to the owner and Peppercorn and Nutmeg went after a scent, possibly of a deer and didn't return.
The owner is contacting the Dog Warden and local vets in the area and I have suggested putting an alert out on the local radio station.
I will E-mail general information including contact numbers for vets in the area.

Celebrations

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
