A group of searchers have arranged to meet Jakes owner at the Rookery next to the railway line at 2pm tomorrow (22nd Jan) to search the overgrown area. If we have any helpers that can assist Its advisable to wear suitable footwear and clothing and gloves. Good luck and thank you to you all xx

New poster photo added to replace the earlier one taken as a photo from a cushion cover. Please be aware there is a duplicate page dog I'd number 81488 listed by someone else

Still no news or sightings of Jake.
Network rail have advised that there is an inaccessible ditch they have been unable to search at one point alongside the railway.
Posters have gone out and helpers have been searching.
There are plans I believe this Saturday to do a thorough search of the overgrown brambled area Jake was last seen near. He knows the area and there are concerns he may have become caught up there otherwise he would know his way home. Or perhaps someone has taken him and not yet come forward.
That place that is called The Rockery which I understand runs alongside the railway. Attempts are being made to contact the landowner as it sounds very much like the area will have to be cut back to gain access and search properly.
I'll update more as and when the search party details are in place so if anyone is able to help I'm sure you would be welcomed with open arms xxLast edited: 2015-01-20 21:45:45 by Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset

Sadly still no sightings or news of Jake this evening. Marina and other helpers have been out searching. He was last seen in an area called The Rookery which is covered in dense brambles which runs alongside the railway. Network rail have been informed.
Posters will be going out tomorrow in the area. Please also re contact the warden and any local vets to ensure they know he is still missing.
Hopefully there will be better news tomorrow with the weekend over x

General advice sheet emailed with advice to poster well and contact local vets. I have been told that the warden is aware and that chip contact details are up to date. Jakes owner is elderly with no internet access.
Hoping there is good news very soon x
