- Darren and family my thoughts are so much with you. Kimmybear is right, Tizer will always be part of your family, and always by your side. Many thanks to the train driver as well, it would have been so easy to look the other way.

- As Tizer's owners we have visited the site where she has been spotted and can confirm she has passed, and can be confidant that it was her in fact not just from her markings, but her microchip number which was validated later at the vets.
She was instantly killed and most probably the same day she went missing given her close proximity to the woods, thankfully she only had a slight blood mark to her nose outside of that you would believe she was simply sleeping. I have taken her to usual vets where she will be cremated early next week, once we receive her ashes we will lay her ashes capsule to rest in our rear garden under the tree/bushes she liked to relax under after her mischievous walks.
Finally I would like to thank all the people who have assisted us in receiving closure, please do not be upset that she has passed, she was 14 years old, she had been well looked after, and died happy doing what she loved which was running around crazy as all springers do. She had deteriorated over the previous year and in many ways we believe she sensed her time was near as she had visited that wood a thousand time and never gone near the bridge.
Please take comfort from the fact that it was the networking and good will shown through sites such as Facebook, Dog Lost (Especially Ellie - Dog Lost Co- Ordinator who remained positive and informative at all times) and Kari & Mark who took time to investigate, search and inform us of her possible death, with Mark being the train driver who noticed her trackside its a never a pleasant task but as Spaniel dog owners themselves they know the value in closure.
Thanks once more for all your efforts
Darren

- This is dreadful. Another railway supposedly fenced off but obviously not securely. I would ask if local people could find out where Tizer could have accessed the line? Then it would be a very good idea to put pressure on the Rail company to get it secured properly. This park I understand is very popular for dogs and kids. Thank you Ellie for advising me. Thank you so much to the kind train driver, we need more like you. It means so much to owners to know. Having been in the same situation as poor Tizer's family, I know they are distraught beyond words. This is not something you ever get over, you just have to find a way of coping. To dear Tizer's family, please know your little one has earnt her little wings so God took her quickly, without suffering. I promise she will wait for you until you too, have earnt your wings. Then, nothing will ever part you again. God bless sweet Tizer and her loving owners, who I pray in time, will know peace. xxx

- Still no sign of Tizer, we have been up to the Common both day and night with various search parties, and placed posters and senting options as directed. As everyone knows its been the coldest two nights in years and we now fear for her return, We have walked the railway line and can confirm there appears to be nothing to suggest that she was involved in an accident.
This is totally out of character and both our children are upset as are we as parents as we all miss her.
We would consider a reward if necassary that leads to her safe return. For any further information call me on 07773 761021 we are eagily awaiting any sightings.
Please continue to share on facebook and with friends until she is found, your support is invaluable to us, and hopefully our children will stop crying and we can all smile again - 2015-01-19 10:47 Riverlady
