- I have added a picture of Vasco now he is home on his comfortable chair. He has a couple of nasty infected cuts.
His owners have asked me to thank everyone & say to those who have dogs still missing, not to give up hope. - 2015-01-23 18:16 Happiness yorkie lover xxx

- Had phoned & left message for owner asking for update & this has just arrived.....
Hi Max - have just got home and got your message - am far too emotional to talk on the phone just at the moment - we had the local shoot here today who I'd asked to keep their eyes out and they found him!! He was buried 6ft down a rabbit hole under a huge rock - and in fact my husband David had actually walked right over him this morning looking for him - their gun dogs went mad in the area and they had to dig him out - he's at the vet now and she's just rung to say he's eaten and drunk and he's on pain killers and antibiotics and some other drug to make him feel happy!! Am so relieved - had really given up hope - especially when I saw the thick frost this morning and thought he'd be freezing somewhere if he was alive - my husband is convinced that he would have got himself out if he hadn't had a collar on - so difficult knowing what the best thing to do is - thanks so much for your help and support - I really appreciate it - shall I update the web-site or will you?
Thanks again - hope you get this OK - just know I'm going to be in floods of tears if I call!!
Welcome back Vasco, hope you are feeling better soon - 2015-01-22 19:09 Moogie - Area Volunteer, Cornwall

- Have spoken to owner, emailed advice sheets & given dog wardens phone number.
Owner has several dogs which are walked on their land, they all ran off excitedly (possibly after rabbits), they have been known to go down rabbit holes. Vasco didn't come back with the others, so it is suspected he is stuck. have advised owner how to use hosepipe & funnel to listen for dog down holes. Sadly he is not one to bark! He has been added to local fb pages
Stay safe Vasco
