- Posted by Emma Broad in Newbury Past & Present Facebook group yesterday: "This picture is of Monty the staffie that escaped from a workmans. Van in John rankin school. We live in henshaw crescent and it was my son who found him on our doorstep. We did searches ie police, spotted in newbury website etc. we looked after him from 1.30 till 7pm Thursday. Till the dog warden collected him. Owner lives in Poole where months microchip is registered too.". Owner was to collect from Oxford kennels.

- I believe dog warden and owner have been in contact. As I understand, Dog jumped out of works van, and owner lives quite along way from Newbury. Glad he was picked up before spending the night in the cold. Not sure if actually reunited yet though.
