- Update on Chester's FB page:-
Missing: Find Our Boy, Chester added 10 new photos
Today is Chester's birthday. He is 4. The person who has him won't know this. They won't know a lot of things about Chester and this is because he is not their dog, he is not their family, he is our family.
We are offering £1000 reward for his safe return, no questions asked. I am just desperate for him to be safe and for him to be home!! Time is not a healer and I hate the fact that I am having to get used to him not being around. There is a huge hole in our lives that only Chester can fill.
Please could EVERYONE share his page today. It takes seconds and the more people who know him the better. Because he is not where he belongs. He belongs with us x. - 2015-04-27 13:08 Sue P

- Just had a report of an RTC on A419 in the exact location that Tiga indicated that Chester had crossed the road and the same spot he was thought to have been hit originally. Driver swerved to avoid something in the road He thought it could have been an animal. He didn't hit it and police have checked the area and nothing there Could possibly have been Chester crossinfg back to where he was lost from

- Tiga tracked last night from Edmonts to Hyde Road and down to the Kingsdown Pub, turning right along the B4006 all the way down to Whitworth road and on to the cemetery, turning right just after the cemetery down a track into Kennett Avenue and across seven fields up through the woods onto Pennhill and back to the cycle track to Hyde road. Jess has just had a call of a potential sighting in kennett avenue. Come on Chester.

- Fingers crossed for Chester. Thameswood Vets and Eastcott vets have out of hours emergency services. If whoever picked him up was travelling the other way, it might be worth looking at vets near Stroud. Good luck.
- 2015-01-27 07:11 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- Late home last night after a long day tracking. Tiga picked up the scent from where Chester ran off in the woods and clearly took us towards the A419 along a footpath still within the woods eventually taking us to the A419 where there is a footpath crossing the busy road. Tiga pulled under the gate and so I went with him to the layby there and he clearly wanted to continue across to the other side, during the rush hour I chickened out as I didn't want the owners scent to come beyond the boundary of the woods and I couldn't leave her there as it was dark and getting late. We retraced our steps back and over the bridge back to the other side safely. We then picked up where the footpath continued the other side but sadly for the second time the scent stopped on the north bound side.
The only other possibility is bearing in mind that I didn't track across the A419 is that Chester might have gone across to the middle and then ran down the central reservation and across to the other side further down. - Still no news although there is a Companion Care in Cirencester but they would have been phoned by now. The phone call is the only evidence that Chester was picked up by someone. The owner has put up posters in Swindon and is still searching locally

- The vet nurse is a locum vet for Companion Care she had a phone call at work this morning to say car behind picked up dog on the A419 and was taken to vets in ciren..whoever phoned asked if it was her practice..so she explained that not us.

- Chester ran in front of a car and the lady driver said she hit him Chester ran off and she did not see where. Her front light was damaged. Chester was seen by a motorist he was sat on the verge of the A419 a car had pulled up and the driver was trying to get the dog. When she looked back the dog had gone. A vet nurse received a phone call regarding a vet in Cirencester that could take an injured dog. Not sure what was advised but will try to find out
- 2015-01-26 10:04 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- Bubbles - can we follow up on the posting by the veterinary nurse as the sequence of events is unclear, as to whether a dog was hit before or after being seen sitting by the edge of the road.
- 2015-01-26 09:54 BUBBLES
