- The stolen husky referred to in the article was taken from a van in Tooting London SW17 and is registered in the lost section of Doglost Dog ID 81309 . I believe the family are from Sutton though. He is only 5 months old and like you say has that black spot above his eye.

- I don't know if it's the right dog now :( Brought up both pics side by side and the Sutton one has a black spot on his forehead. But hopefully DogLost can speak with the owner of the missing dog and confirm or deny - good luck folks x

- There was a husky stolen from Sutton, Surrey on 13 January. Here's the link to the newspaper article which has been doing the rounds on Facebook.
