I knew someone in Trowbridge that had two beautiful pyrenean mountain dogs and this one does look fairly different to them, they were show dogs though so may look different??

Hi, The dog has been seen by a PMD breeder and is either full PMD or cross with a collie (Great Cambrian Shepherd) - The pictures aren't clear with regards the markings and shape. I have changed the breed type back. Sadly there is a lot of inappropriate breeding of the PMD/collie cross and often end up in rescue.

The child in the picture doesn't look as though he/she will be happy to see this beauty go! They look quite settled with each other!

I think this could also be a Maremma Sheepdog as the anatolians usually have a dark muzzle. Whatever she is she is very beautiful and I hope she finds a wonderful home.

tx have updated the breed.

Although I posted that name it was not the breed name I was thinking of.
This is the breed I was thinking.
Seen a couple in last couple of years in rescue,
It is the Anatolian shepherd

Patlucky, I was wondering that, don't know much about that breed, but looks a bit small for Pyrie?
BigGSDPatlucky
Could she possibly be a Croatian sheepdog?

You could well be right Kat, new breed to me never heard of it before but she does look similar. There are no breeders in UK I could find on the Internet so maybe she is come over here from elsewhere?
Kat
I think she's a Hungarian Kuvasz.

She looks more like a retriever or retriever cross to me but can't see how tall she is from photo, but has retrievers face and build.
