- Just seen this on facebook....Zoe Webb : Was this dog found near downham last night?? A dog who looks exactly the same as this dog run out infront of my car and I had to slam my breaks on and I put my hazards lights on and was trying to get out of my car to get hold of him but he ran off at high speed toward the high street so I called the police and they sent offices down to look for him, I really hope it's him I've been worried about him all day x

- Hi Marsha, i drove round the back of the shops at 6 am this morning on my way to work, there was alot of ripped up rubbish and food in the back road behind tescos but that could be foxes.. i have spread the word to many people. Do you have facebook ? If so, make a page for her, that she is missing and i can can share it around, the more people in area and surroundings know the better.. The good thing is her size, she cant hide for to long, or if someone has her, the posters will get her home. Also het a poster in the Foxgrove house pub, its down the lane off foxgrove road, they are dog friendly and have all the beckenham place park surrounding them to keep an eye out. xxLast edited: 2015-01-30 16:24:54 by ellejay

- Thank you Baggy Dog. I've been handing out her poster to everyone. I live right near the park, so all the dog walkers know to look out for her. There's no sign at all of her so I'm hoping someone took her in and will see a poster or call battersea or the dog warden.

- Hope you have some good news this morning. If not suggest giving out her details to everyone you meet. If you want to email me I'll make up a sheet for you to print out and cut up (info@safedog.co.uk). Good luck, hope she's home soon.

- Thank you Millys Mum. I tried Bromley and Lewisham dog wardens, but both closed until the morning. I'll try Foxgrove Road vets now. Planning to go out again in a hour with my other dog, see if she appears when its quieter out. If there's still no sign by morning I'll poster a wider area. x

- I'm so sorry to hear that Blanche is missing but good to hear that you have ellejay on the case providing support and lots of great local knowledge. Although further away from you in Beckenham, I will keep my eyes and ears open. Have you contacted Foxgrove Road vets as they provide, 24/7 cover for many local vets and are always happy to display a missing poster? And have you also contacted SDK Environmental, Bromley council's contracted-out dog warden service and what about Battersea? Hope it won't be long until she is found.Last edited: 2015-01-29 22:51:57 by Millys Mum

- Thank you ellejay. I'm pretty sure she went in to the gardens at the back of Iceland and Tesco. I've postered all over this side of the main road and got neighbours to check gardens. Great idea about Dowhham cabs. I'll take a poster there now. x

- Just clicked where you are, literally round the corner. Check behind the shops incase she scavenging food, late at night is the best time and early morning. Get posters all up high street, BPpark, downham playing fields in Glenbow road.. Pop a poster in downham cabs so the drivers can keep an eye out.

- I am in BR1, where abouts is your road near ? Get posters made ASAP and get them up around area. She may have gone into one of the many parks round here. As she is a big dog and her colour hopefully she will be spotted very soon, but the quicker posters go up the more chance of getting her home soon. I will spread the word xx

- Blanche is very friendly. She's about the size of a lab, but slender.
