So sorry to hear your news. I imagine your dog walker may have been punished enough by this outcome, I know if it was me I would feel truly terrible. At least you have closure now. My heart feels heavy :(

The Rainbow Bridge
R.I.P DARCY XXX
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies
that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm
and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health
and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and
looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers.
Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs
carrying her faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your
special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your
life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together

Just back in after walking the dog all round the old Steel works and over to the Chip shop in Glenboig. Saw the feeding station beside the skip, so presume there is no new news.

Just home a feeding station has now been set up in the hope she will stay in the area , owner and her family are on the case and are doing fantastic x x nothing concrete throughout this evening but lots of flyers have been posted through doors and lots of people aware of darcy being missing x so hope tomorrow is successful x come on team darcy we can do this xxxxx

darcey has beem spottied tomight ceossing from the garycosj fields into glenboig near the chip shop,, by tim we got ther she had run off ,,, least we k ow shes ok and will be in the area throughout the night and hopefully manage to get her xx

Are transport Scotland aware, that motorway is awful close to where she has been seen.

For info The field between the Police building and the motorway is completely enclosed by a good quality fence. I have been all over it yesterday on the off chance.
A word of caution for anyone entering the field, be careful, the is at least one very deep hole which is hard to see due to the long grass, there may be more.

Walked all round the Old Steel works yesterday and today. Also all the way over to Glenboig around Marinos chippy and back to Gartcosh via 'Ducks Walk' with my own dog 'jack' no joy. Will be back out tomorrow.

Search being arranged for Sunday meeting at 12 o'clock at police headquarters in gartcosh G69 8DF just up from train station x all help welcomed , owner is also contacting k9 tracking to see if they can help x this is a vey much missed little dog x

Just home went out this morning and had a look around with darcys owner there have been sighting in g69 in fields up from train station , it's a vast area , have advised owner to leave bedding and food x they have lots of people out looking for darcy , posters are all made up x hope this little one gets home x have left my number with owner and willing to drve out again tomorrow if needed x

Going by the comments on Facebook page the dog walker doesn't know where they lost this lovely dog x I would be sacking them and getting the company to help look for this lovely girl x x great to see you added darcy to the site x
